About our speakers:
Jay D. Koritzinsky, Esq., Partner, Koritzinsky & Karls LLC
Jay’s practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate transactions, landlord/tenant and fair housing matters, and collection cases. He has significant experience in these areas, including an active courtroom practice. Jay represents a large number of property owners and management companies, and assists them with leasing issues, evictions, collections, fair housing matters, and other advice as needed. In the real estate transactional practice, Jay can assist buyers and sellers of commercial or residential properties, including tax-deferred exchanges. He is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of Wisconsin. Jay received his undergraduate degree with Honors from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is a 1980 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. He’s a member of the Dane County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Gretchen Richards, CCIM, CBRE – Multifamily Investments
Gretchen Richards is a Vice President in the CBRE Madison office. Richards specializes in multifamily investment sales as a part of the Capital Markets Investments Property group. Since joining CBRE in 2016, Gretchen has participated in approximately $208 million in investment real estate transactions representing private equity and institutional clients. Prior to joining CBRE Madison, Gretchen worked as a Commercial Real Estate Lender, a Leasing Director with a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and sales professional with a Madison-based Berkshire Hathaway affiliate. Gretchen’s experience within many aspects of multifamily investments – from operations to underwriting to sales – provide valuable context to fully understand assets and tell the story of each disposition.
Dennis Kopf, PhD, UW-Whitewater, College of Business and Economics, Institute for Sales Excellence
Dr. Kopf received his Ph.D. from New Mexico State University. He teaches Advanced and Entrepreneurial Sales Techniques, Principles of Selling and Ethics in the Marketplace. He has over 11 years of selling experience in B2B and B2C organizations. His work has appeared in the Journal of Advertising, the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Internet Commerce, the Journal of Consumer Behavior and the Journal of Brand Management.
